Queensland all the way in 2014 Polocrosse Season

Both Wells children have been selected in Queensland Junior Polocrosse Teams for 2014.  Sophie will make her maroon debut at the Australian Junior Classic at Albury in April on Hawthorne Belle.

Anthony will represent QLD in three different states this year, starting with the U16 Boys team on Hawthorne Shania playing at Barastoc Interstate Series in Warwick.

From Warwick we will head to Albury where Anthony will Captain the first U16 mixed side on Hawthorne Big Jake.

The culmination will be in July at the Polocrosse National Titles in Darwin on Hawthorne Shania.

With Anthony and Sophie commandearing the main horses, Kent is relegated to starting four young ones: Hawthorn Beyonce, Hawthorne Black Jack, Hawthorne Morgan and Hawthorne Whyatt.

Hawthorne Stud wecomes Tori Sherrif from South Australia for the 2014 polocrosse season.

Anthony wins Champion Junior Player at Lockyer Valley Carnival

Warwick Rosebowl Carnival – Family of trophy hunters: Kent won Champion Horse of the Carnival on Hawthorne Shania and Anthony won Best Horse and Rider in the B Grade Juniors on Durham Squire

Warwick Win the Queensland State Titles in the open compeition and the mixed competition
